02 · Why LadyBug E Exists
I built the program I wish had existed for me.
After more than two decades leading transformation across Telecom, FinTech and Automotive, Vanessa Eriksson observed a recurring pattern.
As AI began reshaping industries, organisations and leadership itself, the demand for new leadership capabilities was accelerating rapidly. Yet many ambitious women were still dependent on organisations to decide when, and if, they were ready for the next opportunity.
When Vanessa explored established leadership programs herself, she discovered that many required corporate nomination or sponsorship.
It raised a broader question:
Why should access to leadership development depend on someone else's belief in your potential?
LadyBug E was created for women who choose to invest in themselves.
Women who are ambitious.
Women who are curious.
Women who want to lead through transformation rather than react to it.
Built at the intersection of leadership, AI, governance and innovation, LadyBug E brings together women who are determined to strengthen their influence, expand their thinking and actively shape the future of business.
The program is a natural evolution of Girls at Tech Nordics, the non-profit Vanessa founded in 2017 to inspire girls to pursue an education in technology.
From encouraging girls to enter the world of technology, to supporting women shaping its future, the mission remains the same:
